At Piña I have overseen and engineered the entire design process of creating our Piña Designs Everyday Hair Tie via a user centric design and material science principles making the end product a comfortable fit for any body or any hair type while decreasing the decomposition time by 2027% less than the average hair tie. On top of that, I am also the creative director for our social media outlets and our marketing/product design department. 












So far, Piña Designs has been awarded over $7,000 in funding through a start up venture competition at CU Boulder called New Venture Challenge (NVC) in 2023. We are proud to say that we made it to the top five of 98 teams for the overall competition and placed second for the special sustainability sector where we presented at Google.
